little ladies

every time i collect our eggs, i feel like i am holding beautiful perfection in my hands.

    do you also have chickens? it always makes me too extremely happy, to have fresh eggs from our chickens. and these days they like to put them a little bit here and there, so it is always a surprise where to find them.

    I love the quote and your beautiful ladies. I too love eggs and bird nests. There is something about the feeling of new beginnings, home and comforting that comes to holding such great perfection.

    And the quote.
    When I was young and we, as a class, were asked our favourite shape I said "egg" and was promptly laughed at. It is still my favourite shape. And food too! I call my beloveds "My little/big/rotten Oeufs"...

    The first picture is realy sweet. A very safe feeling....
    We have also chickens but we don´t have eggs now.
    We love it also to have the perfect formed eggs in our hand.

    Lovely faces on your eggs. We go to a local farm to collect fresh eggs at the weekends. We often lift up the chickens to get the freshly laid ones, still warm. They are wonderful to eat with the biggest yellow yolks.
